Auray Technology Showcases Global Leadership in O-RAN Product Testing and Validation at NTIA International Open RAN Symposium
In September 2024, Auray Technology was invited by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to participate in the International Open RAN Symposia (IORS) held in the United States. Alongside Keysight Technologies (USA), Northeastern University, Rakuten Mobile (Japan), and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Auray delivered a keynote speech, sharing its latest achievements in Open RAN energy consumption testing. The event attracted industry experts, academic representatives, and government officials from around the world to discuss strategies for accelerating the adoption and deployment of Open RAN.
The symposium aimed to establish a global ecosystem to promote Open RAN interoperability and standardization in testing. Participants included both established and emerging test laboratories, industry leaders, and government agencies, all working together to drive technological innovation and standard development. During the event, Auray Technology’s Deputy Manager, Lin Zong-Yi, presented a talk titled "Achievements in O-RU Energy Consumption Testing Consistency and Reproducibility", highlighting the company’s breakthroughs in this field and its vision for the future.
Beyond enhancing Auray Technology’s global visibility, the symposium also facilitated academic collaborations with leading institutions. Professors from Rutgers University and North Carolina University showed great interest in Auray’s technological advancements, underscoring the global significance of Open RAN technology. The event provided a valuable platform for collaboration, fostering knowledge exchange and sparking innovative discussions.
